AWSummit 2020 and COVID-19 (coronavirus)

These are our latest updates about AWSummit 2020.

The world is a bit turned upside down at the moment, but you know what they say, the show must go on. So while we wait for the craziness to calm down, the AWSummit team will move forward with the plans for 2020.
The changes we made:
We have finally secured the new dates for our event, the last week of August like we previously announced, between 25th - 28th of August!

The change of dates means also the change of venue. Since our old venue hotel was fully booked in this period, we needed to find a new place. Our new show hotel is the beautiful Alcor Hotel from Mamaia. We are very happy with the new location and we are certain that you will enjoy it too.

We have also partnered up with some hotels nearby, since the Alcor Hotel, has a smaller capacity than our previous one.

What are the options for people who are already registered?
Many of you have already bought your tickets and booked a hotel room. Congrats on being an early bird!
The tickets you bought are still valid. In case the new dates won’t fit you, and we are very sorry to hear that, you can always contact us and we will fully refund you.

For those who have already booked a room, we will make sure to contact each and one of you in order to set you up with a similar one in our new hotel.

Will AWSummit really be held in August or will it be postponed again?
The situation right now is unclear and we can’t be sure of anything at this moment, but as we previously said, the show must go on. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely and we feel confident that most of it will be under control by the time AWSummit will open its doors.

To be easier for you, as an attendee or a sponsor, to make a decision we want to offer you some insurances.

For Attendees
If AWSummit can’t be held because of the COVID-19, we will FULLY REFUND your ticket and hotel room.

For Sponsors
All our event partners are very understanding and with the contracts and deals that we have with them, we can assure you that you will be FULLY REFUNDED if AWSummit can’t be held due to COVID-19 situation.

We know many of you are eager to get back to business and travel for trade shows and we hope that with this guarantee you will be able to make a decision, as normal. Do you still have questions?
